Thailand is best known to be the home to the soppiest, inspiring, tear-jerking TV ads or commercials. Thai commercials are some of the most consistently brilliant advertisements in Asia. Emotion is one of the signature characteristics of their advertisements. Thais are extreme emotional people, so if you want to connect with them, there is no way better than going all the way to touch their hearts, whether it is comedy or drama. Thai commercials have been building emotional engagement through heart- wrenching advertisements. Thai commercials go straight for the feels, giving you emotional attachments that may lead you to hyperventilate and cry like a baby. 1. "My Father is a Liar."
A commercial that went viral, telling about a father who lies to his daughter to make her happy. This video is made by MetLife, an insurance company.

This ad focuses on a woman managing school and raising her daughter alone. The sequenced shots show the mom and daughter's tight, loving bond through their daily life. It's so emotional!

It's about how strong a fathers love can be to his children. The man is mute and deaf but still shows the silence of love in this thai life insurance video that is a commercial. It is really heartbreaking seeing him offer his love life for the girl that didn't even care about his silence of her. This ad is a must watch.
6. "Po-Chau Story."
A symbol of a father’s sacrifice to give his son a chance of becoming something in life. This story is about a poor farmer whose wife died soon after giving birth to her son. The farmer sold all his belongings to pay for an education for his son. Eventually through the father’s perseverance his beloved son graduated at a University. This is remarkable because the graduate is Hmong from Thailand (Nan Province จ.นาน) who are poor, marginalized Hill tribesmen who don’t often have the chance to finish school. But despite that fact this proud father still manage to give his son a chance of becoming something in life.
7. "Violin Girl."
The story of a deaf and mute girl who learns to play the violin against all odds.
