The NYC Experience For The First Time

The 22nd STI National Youth Convention was held at The Monochrome in Sta. Rosa, Laguna last February 8, 2017 with a theme "Are You Ready For Liftoff?". It was attended by both College students and Senior High School students of STI College. All of them are excited to witness how the program will go. When the guest speakers already showed up, they all pay attention.

For this year's conventions guest speakers are: (from left) Mr. Arun Gogna, Ms. Carelle Mangaliag and Mr. David Tapang.

As written, all of the students who attended the 22nd STI-NYC 2017 are excited but the most excited on the event was the first timers or the students of STI College Calamba that will attend the National Youth Convention for the very first time. One of them is Juan Miguel David, from ABCOMM section 401. The Empire Philippines team make a chat interview with Mr. David about the feeling of attending the NYC for the first time. His answers was priceless. According to him, attending the STI-NYC was fun and very informative. He also told us that the facilities of The Monochrome was good and clean.

"Masaya. It was very inspiring and marami kang matutunan sa convention o seminar the place was good the same time the facilities are clean the NYC for me 10/10 rate" he said.

He also told us that the best guest speaker for him is Mr. Arun Gogna because Mr. Gogna's message really touched his heart and very relating. He also said that the reason why he is very happy during the program, beside from the event, are his friends who also were there on the event.

When we ask him if he is looking forward to join the next year's NYC event, he positively say YES.

"Yes im looking forward to the next yr NYC and i hope i will learn more exciting stuff next year" he said.
