Versace on the floor, a song by an international singer and songwriter Bruno Mars, was considered as one of “ pinoy anthems” of todays’ youth for atleast a month now. A combination of ballad and RnB that captured the heart of almost every Filipino in the country.

Though the lyrics of the said song was sexual, it reminds me of a slow-dancewearing your beautiful red body hugging gown with your ultimate crush looking dashing in his black suit with a red bow-tie as it’s accent and a brush up hairdo way back your prom night. It sounds like you were listening to the boy band Boyz II Men way back the 80s but in Bruno’s falsetto. It’s definitely not a sad song but a romantic or seductive one to be specific. He successfully explained how to undress a girl without sounding too sexual.

The Versace on the floor is Mars’ second single with almost the same tune with his other single entitled When I was your man. Mars showed once again to the world that he can sing ballad and heart whelming songs that can related to many. Versace on the floor can be heard from stereos of houses, malls and other public places and public vehicles. Although the kids can understand the meaning of each lyrics, they enjoyed singing it while jamming with their family.
