Hot air balloon fest s an annual event that occurs between January and February at Clark Freeport Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga. This three- to four-day event features different hot air balloons from colors to design to aerobatic exhibitions, skydiving, and lots of activities. There are different variety of foods to choose from. Souvenirs and t-shirts were scattered all over the event. Henna booths, mini zoo and botanical garden were also present in the event.

It’s a three to four hour drive from Manila and suggested to travel at 12mn onwards. Parking spaces were difficult to find because of the huge amount of people who wants to witness the hot air balloon fest. Everyone would sit or stand at the look-out space in the event because there were no seats available in the field. It is advisable to bring picnic blankets for a comfortable sight-seeing place. Usually, hot air balloon were started to lift 6 in the morning for a good stable wind that can be control by it pilots. When the balloon were already up in the sky and you’re done taking picture of it, I suggest that you stroll around and check the place for a better picture with the balloons up in the sky as your backdrop. Food were a little expensive than the usual but it was in a reasonable price. Make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes for you to move freely and happily.
